IATA is flying the giant Hamamatsu kites 3rd Sunday of every month between March and November (excluding Aril and July) at Berkeley Marina's Cesar Chavez Park. Everybody is welcome to participate. Schedules for 2019 :
3/17, 5/19, 6/16, 8/18, 9/15, 10/20, 11/17.

IATA held an exhibition called "Japanese Kites / Friendship takes Flight" with collaboration with Consulate-General of Japan in San Francisco at the Japan Information & Cultural Center from July 5 2017 to the end of August 2017. We displayed mainly Hamamatsu Kites along with other Japanese Kites of other areas.

 
2019 demonstration

We will make Hamamatsu kites on May 26, June 2 and June 23 in the Meeting Room next to the Union Bank Japantown Branch in San Francisco.
